Building your case file

How FraudFile works

Three steps, about a minute. Nothing you type is stored — your case is generated and shown only to you.

1

Tell us what happened

A few sentences about the scam, how you paid, and anything you know about who did it.

2

We draft every report

FraudFile writes your incident narrative and a field-by-field FBI IC3 filing sheet, plus a plan and your protection rights.

3

File with confidence

Copy each report into the official forms and submit — or get the full done-for-you kit for every agency at once.

What you get

The FBI report is always free. The full multi-agency kit is an optional one-time $39.

Common questions

Straight answers about what FraudFile is — and what it isn't.

Will this get my money back?

FraudFile organizes and drafts your reports so you can file fast and correctly — it is not a recovery service and can't guarantee a refund. Filing quickly is what gives you the best shot.

Do you store what I type?

No. Your case is generated and shown only to you. We don't keep your personal details — only the scammer's indicators (a bad domain, number, or email) go to our shared database to warn others.

Is it really free to file with the FBI?

Yes. Your protection assessment, action plan, incident summary, and the IC3 Quick-Filer are free. The $39 kit is optional — it writes every other agency report for you.

Not sure it was even a scam?

Check the message first on Sussr, our free scam checker — then come back if you need to file.
